Now we had our idea, but it was important to find a way to show it to the world. Since our idea was mostly a service, it took us a while to figure out how we could prototype it. We decided upon using roleplay as our prototyping tool, since it gave us the most options to see and point out mistakes or problems with our design.
We started by creating a scenario on paper: a senior - Elise - and her granddaughter come to the store to buy a new phone for her. The Telenor assistant offers them a special “Golden package” for elderly people, that includes introduction material: a handbook on how to operate the phone and a dictionary of the most common technical words, and a card with a picture of a professional you can call if you need any help. This professional will come to your home to help you with your problem. We named this person the Telenor Superhero. After a while, Elise encounters a problem but there is no one to help her. So she decides to call the Telenor superhero. Then he comes to save the day!
After having the scenario planned, we moved on to distributing roles and making our costumes – Linus as a superhero with a plastic blue cape and Telenor logo on his chest, Patrick as an experienced Telenor assistant, Justyna as Elise – a senior in need of new phone, and Bianka as her granddaughter. Réka and Vilde were in charge of filming and directing.
We had small disputes about how to play out some scenes but we also laughed a lot during the process, this being the first time acting for some of us.
